This opening sound somewhat similar to Perfect Day by Lou Reed - which of course is a song about heroin addiction - is it at all possible Michael is singing about heroin?
That seems a bit silly really, I know Michael's not the most wholesome of singers, but surely he's better than that? I suspect it's more likely that he's in fact singing about his beloved (now sadly deceased) pet monkey Bubbles.

Ok maybe I was jumping the gun by claiming this song is a love sonnet to Bubbles the chimp, as I'm pretty sure bubbles was a chap, and Michael is singing about a girl (ha!). However, my original fears are being realized as Michael in fact DOES have a drug addiction.
Fortunately it's ecstasy and not the far more addictive heroin, although that being said ecstasy is still dangerous, 999 life savers said so and I NEVER question the wisdom of Michael Burke. The worst thing is that Michael is trying to get his love-interest hooked on the stuff; could Michael be trying to drug her so he could have his wicked way with her perchance? What a fiend!

My god does Jacko have no shame! He's really not taking no for an answer for his little drug game. It looks like the - rather wise - lady-friend of his has refused to take the E but Michael doesn't see a future for them without the mind-expanding substances, and seems unwilling to choose between the two.

Oh god this is just pathetic! Michaels now becoming all poetic again, to try and dupe the poor girl into a life of drug abuse, the saddest thing it's probably worked too. It's all very well Michael claiming heaven is "livin' here inside our hearts" but it let's be honest and admit that heaven for Michael is a small pill with a smiley face (or something equally as crass) on it.

Michael once again talks about true love, which is a bit rich considering it's all been artificially stimulated by chemicals in this case. I'm a bit concerned about the talk of "touching the sky and lighting the darkest day" as this will probably entail Michael trying to literally achieve these goals. The result of one is his untimely demise with a verdict of accidental (read drug-enduced tomfoolery) death, after falling off a tall building thinking he could fly off it. Either that or arson as he tries to light up the night!
It's unsurprising that even Michael is lost for words by the end of this little cautionary tale.
