Oh I cant wait to get next to you Oh I just can't leave you alone Boy you got me doing things that I would never do And I cant stop the way I'm feelin' if I wanted to I'm crazy bout the way that you could make me say your name And if I couldnt have you I would probably go insane cause...
It would appear as though our hero cannot wait to get next to (or indeed even just within a certain proximity to) the subject in question. Ashanti doesn’t feel that she’s capable of leaving said subject alone, and this is causing her considerable bother indeed. This masculine subject has caused Ashanti to do things that she may not normally do (I like to think this includes such joys as milking a cow or even bungee jumping), and she’s worried that even if she wants to stop partaking in these extracurricular activities, well, she just can’t stop. Ashanti appears to be quite insane to the membrane when it comes to mentioning the subjects name (I would personally love it if the aforementioned subject were called Norman or Roy – something traditional, old fashioned and very much un-sexy. Oh, Norman Tebbit. You God) and this state of mental disorder would only be heightened if she were unable to spend time with the subject of her affections. And this is apparently because…
Only u can make me feel (only you can me make me feel) And only u can take me there (only u can take me there)
…Ashanti suffers from a disorder entitled dyslexia. Some (such as a prospective Cardiff University Disabilities Officer) would call this a disability; I feel it’s a bit of a generous title. A disability is physically or mentally impairing; at worst dyslexia will cause you to spell a few things wrong. Surely? Or am I just being Dyslexist?
Anyway yes because of her apparent lack of spelling ability I feel that Ashanti suffers from this disorder. This subject is the only person who can make her feel (well that’s bollocks right there, if she actually has a nerve-related disability then no-one, except a fantastic doctor and lets face it, an exceptional doctor is not going to fall for Ashanti, is going to be able to make her feel again). In addition to apparently being a world class surgeon this subject is also the only person who can take her anywhere (if perhaps she were more willing to embrace the notion of public transport then this would be a different issue – unless of course she lives in the rural regions of Berkshire where public transportation provisions, especially for the elderly, are just terrible); there’s a lot of flaws in her argument, that’s for sure.
Boy you stay inside my mind ain't no denyin' that
And only you could do them things that got me comin' back
Gotta be the realest thing that I have ever felt
And I'll do wat I gotta do to keep you to myself cause..
There is apparently no denying the fact that this boy and his healing, driving and now allegedly psychic powers are capable of staying in Ashanti’s mind indefinitely. Apparently also only this (and, lets face it right here – this extraordinarily talented) man is capable of keeping her coming back for more, which means that he’s doing things right in many departments; perhaps he cooks a good lasagne, or irons a good shirt. She plans to also do anything within her power (including writing a dreadfully misspelled song) to be able to ensure that this subject stays within her clutches. Good for her, nice to see a bit of commitment in the age of adultery.
Crazy Bout the way you (make me) feel I just gotta have u Here and I Wanna let u Know I wont ever let u Go
This speaks for itself really. Ashanti is developing a rather unhealthy obsession with this admittedly amazing guy, and I believe that she should seriously consider seeking psychiatric treatment before she does something just a tad on the silly side of things.
